What does JOUNA cost and when is a service fee charged?
The management platform has no monthly subscription. JOUNA charges no commission on cash payments. It only charges a percentage on transfers processed through Mercado Pago. For the first organisations to join, that percentage is 0% during their first year.
Where do I receive payments made through Mercado Pago?
Payments for drop-in classes, events and monthly fees go directly to your organisation’s Mercado Pago account. JOUNA does not receive, hold or manage your money.
How do I connect my Mercado Pago account?
When setting up your organisation profile, you can link the Mercado Pago account you use to collect payments. From then on, every payment made in the app is processed to that account.
Can I record cash payments?
Yes. You or an authorised team member records the payment, and the fee stays linked to the member, plan, date and person who received it. JOUNA charges no commission on cash payments.
What can I manage from the platform?
Members and participants, plans, fees, classes, events, capacity, attendance, locations, staff, permissions, payments, settlements, notifications and the key metrics for your operation.
Does it support both monthly plans and one-off activities?
Yes. You can manage recurring plans and fees, and also sell drop-in classes, races, tournaments, clinics, outings or sports tourism experiences with their own date, price and capacity.
Can I add my team and limit what each person sees?
Yes. There are four roles: owner, admin, coach and location lead. Each person only accesses the locations, classes and functions of their role.
What happens if I cancel a class or event?
JOUNA applies the published cancellation policy, resolves active bookings under those terms and notifies everyone who booked. Existing bookings keep their original terms if you edit the policy later.
